Chapel Hill Police are asking for public assistance in locating 16-year-old Takaiyah Gattis, who was last seen on Sunday.

Gattis is 5-foot-10 and weighs about 120 lbs. She has brown eyes and black hair, with her hair last seen tied in a ponytail. She was wearing an unknown color shirt, gray leggings, and she was barefoot.

Gattis was last seen at 10:49 p.m. in the area of South Merritt Mill Road in Chapel Hill walking towards West Cameron Avenue.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Orange County Communications Center at 919-732-5063.
