The Chapel Hill Police Department is asking for the public’s help after receiving a missing person report.
A release on Tuesday said 23-year-old Bryan Maddocks was last seen on Sunday, April 14 in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Homestead Road around 5 p.m. Maddocks, who police say is a New Jersey native, is not believed to be in danger.
Chapel Hill Police describe Maddocks as 5-foot-9 with brown hair and facial hair.
Tuesday’s alert to the community encouraged anyone with information about Maddocks’ whereabouts to call 911 or contact the Chapel Hill Police Department directly at 919-968-2760. Additionally, those who wish to share anonymous information can use the Chapel Hill-Carrboro-UNC CrimeStoppers hotline (919-942-7515) and website.
