UPDATE: A release from Chapel Hill Police at 9:30 a.m. on Monday said Lashunda Racquel Goins has been safely located.
The Chapel Hill Police Department is turning to the public for help in finding a woman last seen on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
An alert shared in the early morning hours of Friday by police said they are seeking 44-year-old Lashunda Racquel Goins, a Chapel Hill resident reported missing. Goins was last seen around 10 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of Conner Drive.

Police describe Goins as 5-foot-6 with black and red braided hair, and weighing around 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray sweatpants, and black, red, and gray Nike Air Max shoes.
Friday’s alert said Goins is not believed to be in danger.
