UPDATE: Chapel Hill Police said that Davionne Grant was safely located at 3:35 p.m. on Wednesday.


The Chapel Hill Police Department is asking the community for its help in finding a teenager reported missing on Wednesday.

A release from the department said 15-year-old Davionne Grant was last seen Monday evening in the area of Billie Holiday Court — a road in the Eastwood Apartments community off Piney Mountain Road.

Grant, who is a Chapel Hill resident, is not believed to be in danger according to police. He’s described as 5-foot-7 and weighing around 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a Duke University hoodie.
