I enjoy reading Art Chansky’s columns online. He knows more about UNC sports than anyone I know. It looks like his columns come out only once or twice a week. Anyway you can have him write more articles? Keep up the good work Art.

Would like to see Art Chansky,s Notebook posted so the font can be enlarged by manipulation of the touch screen on my Android phone. This is possible with postings from most other sources and is a great aid to my poor vision!

Your FM 97.9 broadcasts often solicit donations, but I don’t see a way to do this at this website. Since I’ve been listening to the news on your station much more often this year, it seems that I ought to help keep local news alive!

Not much coverage for local high school sports from our “local news source”

WCHL is about the only coverage available for the Lady Tar Heels. It takes a lot of digging to find out when and where they are playing, times, etc. I have been a Tar Heel for decades and will never stop, but we need lots more coverage of womens sports, especially the Lady Heels, now in the Sweet 16.

This is going to be a rather strange request and I wouldn’t blame you for ignoring it!
I spend each winter/spring in Carrboro and got to know Danny Gruen last year while he was playing at the Speakeasy and Imbibe (on Mondays). I told him I’d send some videos from jazz gigs I attend here in Massachusetts but I don’t have his text/email information…should have gotten it before I left.
So, if you would forward this message to him or send his contact info. to me, I’d appreciate it. I don’t think he’d recognize my name but he’ll know who I am when he reads this…I’ll see him again when I return in the late-fall but I’d like to connect before then.
I heard a couple of young bone players in the Pocket Big Band here, recently, and it reminded me of him, and the fact that I told him I’d be in touch. Also, I recently saw/heard Jeff Galindo in Greg Hopkins’ big band but didn’t have my phone with me to record his solos…Danny and I had talked about him

Can you please give us news about Sylvia Hatchell. Former coaches for the mens team are often mentioned, but never Hatchell. After all, she did win a national championship and is probably still the winningest coach for all UNC athletics. I did not feel good at all about the way she was let go.

I enjoy reading Art Chansky’s column, but wish he would leave his liberal opinion’s out of them(no, Donald Tromp does not seem to be dangerous at all to those of us who have any common sense). The one that is dangerous is Kamala!
