This week, join 97.9 The Hill’s Ali Evans with Jasmine Berry, owner and founder of Nanny Posse, a local agency that works with families and nannies that help create the ideal childcare partnership.
“When I got started as an nanny, even though I had some childcare experience, I didn’t know where to go in order to make this an actual career,” said Berry. “No one to support me, and no one to help me grow. So I wanted to be that support and that source of source of growth for others.”
With strict requirements and a close instructive atmosphere at daycares and comparable childcare options, a professional nanny is often thrown into new situations without much time to adjust or learn. Through Nanny Posse, Berry hopes to provide resources and relationships to enhance childcare for families and providers alike.
“When you think about what passion they can build, it’s also not just the passion for what you love,” said Berry. “When I partner with my families, I go in and I want to empower their children to be whatever they want.”
