The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association released its final poll of the 2018 season on Tuesday following the conclusion of this year’s NCAA Tournament.

UNC wound up at No. 4 in the final rankings, after falling to eventual national champion James Madison in the national semifinals. The Tar Heels posted a 17-4 record this season, with two losses coming to James Madison and another to Boston College–which ended the year ranked No. 2.

Florida, ranked No. 6, was the only other team to defeat UNC in 2018.

It also marks the 10th consecutive season that head coach Jenny Levy’s squad has ended the year ranked in the top five by the IWLCA.
