UNC senior goalkeeper Taylor Moreno picked up her third IWLCA National Defensive Player of the Week award of the season on Tuesday.

Moreno recently was named a First Team All-ACC selection and the ACC Tournament MVP after helping the top-ranked Tar Heels secure their fifth consecutive conference title.

In UNC’s three wins last week during the ACC Tournament–over No. 19 Louisville, No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 3 Syracuse–Moreno made 22 saves and allowed just 14 goals. She also collected six ground balls and forced two turnovers.

The Tar Heels have been absolutely dominant all season long and will enter the upcoming NCAA tournament having gone 18-0 and extended their school-record winning streak to 25 games.
