Saturday’s stunning 44-41 loss at Virginia–which had lost its previous four games–sent the UNC football team out of the newest edition of the Associated Press Top 25 poll, which was released on Sunday.

The Tar Heels were the No. 15 team in the country heading into the game, and had been ranked as high as No. 5 before suffering their first loss at Florida State.

Now holding a record of 4-2, this marks the first time UNC has been unranked so far this season.

Clemson held on to the No. 1 spot after surviving a scare at home against Boston College, while the rest of the top five consists of Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Georgia.

Rounding out the top 10 is a group that includes: No. 6 Cincinnati, No. 7 Texas A&M, No. 8 Florida, No. 9 BYU and No. 10 Wisconsin.

The ACC has just three teams in the top 25 this week. Joining Clemson and Notre Dame is No. 11 Miami.
