After going the entirety of regulation and two overtimes with neither side allowing a goal on Sunday at Dorrance Field, the fifth-ranked UNC men’s soccer team ended its rivalry clash with the NC State Wolfpack with a 0-0 tie.

Jonathan Jimenez and Joe Pickering each had shots hit off the goalpost for the Tar Heels (2-1-2) in overtime, but the Wolfpack (0-5-1) were able to clear the threat and escape with the draw.

Although the teams combined for 21 total shots in the match, only four were on target in a stellar defensive showing from both sides.
