Fresh off a 62-26 blowout victory on the road over Miami this past Saturday, the UNC football team moved up four spots to No. 16 in Sunday’s edition of the Associated Press Top 25.

The Tar Heels end the regular season with an 8-3 record, as they now await their final destination for a bowl game.

Alabama held strong at No. 1 once again by staying undefeated, followed by Notre Dame, Ohio State, Clemson and Texas A&M.

The rest of the top 10 consists of: No. 6 Cincinnati, No. 7 Indiana, No. 8 Iowa State, No. 9 Coastal Carolina and No. 10 Georgia.

Miami fell 10 spots from No. 9 to No. 19 after the big loss to UNC.

The ACC has five ranked teams this week, as No. 24 NC State entered the poll–joining Notre Dame, Clemson, the Tar Heels and Miami.
