Welcome to Woman Crush Wednesday!
This week, join 97.9 The Hill’s Ali Evans for a conversation with Dr. Jennifer Lynn King, owner and founder of New Image MD, a medical aesthetics practice in the Durham-Chapel Hill area. As a board-certified physician with over a decade of experience, King brings her prior work into the fold when it comes to aesthetic procedures and works to help patients in what was once a more niche field.
“It’s definitely great how normalized aesthetic procedures have become, said King. “People come to me now much more knowledgeable about what’s out there and what’s available, and so it’s really nice to be able to have a conversation with people about risks and benefits. I just think that people are much more aware of what’s possible now and I can use all my tools that I have available to help people get what they’re looking for.”
King moved to North Carolina in 2010 and practiced at Duke until 2016, when she left to pursue her passion for personalized and specialized care in aesthetic procedures and treatments. According to King, the most important part of her work is “helping patients feel beautiful, from the inside out.”
“I feel like most of the patients that come into the office have pretty good self confidence,” said King. “They just usually have one or two little things that have always bothered them and just wonder if there’s something that we can do to help them look more like themselves.”
