In this week’s “Tu for Two,” Chela is joined by her visiting twin Maylin, which might make this the first “Two Tus for Two!” Their mission to find something unique brought them to something giant, red and round in Chapel Hill — the RedBall Project!

The RedBall Project is a traveling public art piece by American artist Kurt Perschke that has been to over 30 cities globally and is a top contender for the longest-running street artwork piece in the world! Rolling into town to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Ackland, each day a giant red ball is relocated to a new site — where passers-by are encouraged to reconsider the space the ball occupies as a break from the normal, and also to interact with the oversize installation!
