UNC junior golfer Joshua Martin was named Thursday to the PING All-American honorable mention roster, becoming one of 10 golfers in the ACC to earn All-American status this past season.

Martin tied for 14th place at the NCAA Kissimmee Regional, while also shooting a 69 in the Second Round of the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship tournament–the lowest round by a Tar Heel at the event.

His best finish this season was eighth place at the John Hayt Invitational in Ponte Vedra, Fla.

The ACC also recognized Martin on Thursday as one of four UNC golfers on the league’s All-Conference Academic Team.
