Sophomore Ryan Burnett and junior Ryan Gerard gave UNC two golfers on the PING Division I All-East Region team, which was released on Friday.

Burnett finished in the top three in three different tournaments this past season, including a win at the Turning Stone Invitational. Gerard finished in the top seven in five of his eight tournaments.

Together, they ended the season with the top two career scoring averages in the history of the program–with Burnett’s average sitting at 71.45 and Gerard’s at 71.82.

The duo combined to shoot a whopping 25 rounds under par this season, and are two of 28 ACC golfers named to the All-Region team.
