This week’s AP Men’s Basketball Top 25–which was released Monday afternoon–saw UNC fall nine spots to No. 19 after suffering back-to-back losses to Virginia Tech and NC State.

The Tar Heels (16-6, 5-4 ACC) currently sit fifth in the ACC standings, and are one of four teams from the league among the top 25.

Villanova held onto its spot at No. 1 this week, followed by No. 2 Virginia, No. 3 Purdue, No. 4 Duke and No. 5 Michigan State.

Rounding out the top 10 is a group of schools that includes: No. 6 Xavier, No. 7 Kansas, No. 8 Cincinnati, No. 9 Arizona and No. 10 Texas Tech.

Clemson–at No. 20–is the fourth, and final, ACC team in the rankings after Virginia, Duke and UNC.

Tuesday night will see the Tar Heels travel to face off against the Tigers in a top-25 rematch of a game won by UNC at the Smith Center on Jan. 16.
