The Associated Press released its weekly men’s basketball top 25 rankings on Monday, with the Tar Heels dropping six spots to No. 22.

UNC is 4-2 this season and played twice last week, a loss to No. 3 Iowa and a close, six-point win over NC Central.

This week’s top five teams remained the same, with Gonzaga, Baylor, Iowa, Michigan State and Kansas representing the nation’s elite once again.

The rest of the top 10 includes: No. 6 Houston, No. 7 Villanova, No. 8 West Virginia, No. 9 Creighton and No. 10 Tennessee.

The ACC has a total of six ranked teams this week, but none higher than No. 15 Florida State. Also representing the league are: No. 17 Virginia, No. 21 Duke, No. 22 UNC, No. 23 Louisville and No. 24 Clemson.

UNC is scheduled to play No. 20 Ohio State this Saturday in Cleveland as part of the CBS Sports Classic for its third game this season against a ranked opponent–having gone 0-2 against Texas and Iowa.
