Inside Lacrosse magazine released its annual recruiting issue on Monday, ranking five incoming UNC freshmen among the top 50 members of the women’s high school class of 2018.

Midfielder Elizabeth Hillman (Bel Air High School, Maryland) is the prize of the group, as the top overall recruit in the country will take the field for head coach Jenny Levy’s team in the spring.

Another midfielder from Maryland, Tayler Warehime (Manchester Valley High School), is next on the list at No. 19 overall, followed by goalie Kimber Hower from Utah (No. 29 overall).

Hillman’s teammate at Bel Air, defender Gabi Hall (No. 41 overall), will also take the field in Chapel Hill this season.

The fifth, and final, Tar Heel recruit ranked in the top 50 is midfielder Brooklyn Neuman out of Rockford High School in Michigan (No. 43 overall).

These talented recruits will all join a UNC team that went 17-4 last season, before falling in the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament to James Madison.
