The ACC Preseason Women’s Soccer Poll was released Monday afternoon, with UNC predicted to finish atop the league yet again based on a vote of the conference’s 14 head coaches.

Although Florida State led the way with five first-place votes, the Tar Heels had four of their own and their 183 total points were good enough to place them at the top of the poll.

UNC has won a total of 21 ACC championships in program history, including last year’s.

Virginia, Duke and NC State represent the rest of the predicted top-five finishing order behind the Tar Heels and Florida State.
