The Brooklyn Nets announced Monday that they have signed former UNC guard Theo Pinson, who went undrafted following a stellar senior campaign in Chapel Hill.

Terms of the deal were not released.

Pinson played with the Nets during the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League last month, seeing time in all five of the team’s games while posting averages of 11.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in 25.0 minutes per game.

The Greensboro native was a fan favorite during his time at UNC for his outgoing personality off the court and his ability to do a little bit of everything on the court.

His 14 wins in the NCAA Tournament are tied for second all-time in UNC history.
