Following MJ Stewart’s selection in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft on Friday, two more Tar Heels heard their names called before it was all said and done on Saturday.

Linebacker Andre Smith was taken in the seventh round (234th overall) by the Carolina Panthers, while wide receiver Austin Proehl was also taken in the seventh round as the second-to-last pick of the draft (255th overall) by the Buffalo Bills.

Smith started 14 games at middle linebacker during his three-year career with the Tar Heels–ranking seventh in the ACC in tackles as a sophomore in 2016–but suffered a season-ending injury against Louisville in the second game of the 2017 season.

Proehl, meanwhile, is a slot receiver who is the son of former NFL receiver Ricky Proehl. A broken collarbone limited him to just six games in 2017, but he finished his collegiate career with over 1,000 receiving yards.

With a total of three Tar Heels drafted this year, it brings head coach Larry Fedora’s total to 19 during his six-year tenure in Chapel Hill.
