The NFL Draft is filled with all kinds of trades and player transactions, and this year’s was no different.

Former UNC wide receiver Ryan Switzer found that out first hand Saturday when he was sent from the Dallas Cowboys to the Oakland Raiders in exchange for defensive lineman Jihad Ward.

A fourth-round selection by the Cowboys in the 2017 NFL Draft, Switzer caught six passes as a rookie for just 41 yards. His main production came in the return game–posting 29 punt returns for 256 yards and a touchdown to go with 600 kick return yards on 24 attempts.

While at UNC, Switzer set the school’s all-time career records for receptions (243), receiving yards (2,903) and punt return touchdowns (seven).
