UPDATE: An alert from Chapel Hill Police at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday said both Sanyah Whitaker and Crystal Foster were located and are safe.
The Chapel Hill Police Department said in a release Sunday afternoon that it is searching for two missing teenagers and asked the community for assistance. Police say the teens are believed to have run away.

Chapel Hill residents Sanyah Whitaker, 15, and Crystal Foster, 15, were reportedly last seen Saturday morning near the Pritchard Avenue Extension. They’re both described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds.
