Most administrative offices for Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Hillsborough and Orange County will be closed Monday through Wednesday and adjustments are being made to some government services.
In Carrboro, Wednesday’s trash route will be collected on Friday and there are no adjustments to Thursday and Friday’s normal schedule.
Chapel Hill trash collection routes will not run Monday or Tuesday. Monday’s route will be picked up Thursday and Tuesday routes collected on Friday. No curbside recycling routes will run on Tuesday and will instead be collected on Saturday.
Hillsborough residents who normally have their garbage collected on Tuesday and Wednesday will instead both be served – along with brush collection – on Thursday. Recycling will be collected on Wednesday, according to the town.
There will be no yard was collection this week in Chapel Hill or Carrboro.
The Chapel Hill Public Library will be closed through Wednesday. Chapel Hill Transit will not operate routes on Tuesday. Monday and Wednesday will operate on Saturday schedules.
