The UNC women’s lacrosse team released its 2019 regular season schedule on Wednesday, with head coach Jenny Levy’s squad set to take on a difficult slate of games as it tries to reach the Final Four for the second straight year.

After playing last season at Kenan Stadium, the Tar Heels will also be in their brand new Carolina Lacrosse Stadium for the 2019 campaign–which will begin on Feb. 9 when they host defending national champion James Madison.

The Tar Heels will then host High Point (Feb. 15) and East Carolina (Feb. 17) before going on their first road trip of the year to face Maryland on Feb. 24.

Two more home games will follow the trip to College Park, as Northwestern (Mar. 2) and Virginia (Mar. 9) visit Chapel Hill.

From there, UNC will hit the road again for a pair of games against Elon (Mar. 12) and Florida (Mar. 16).

Next is two more home dates against Campbell (Mar. 19) and last year’s NCAA runner-up, Boston College (Mar. 23), followed by three consecutive ACC road games at Virginia Tech (Mar. 27), Notre Dame (Mar. 31) and Louisville (April 6).

The final game of the regular season is at home against Syracuse on April 13.

Boston College is this year’s ACC Tournament host.
