A dominant second-half showing by the No. 2 seed UNC women’s lacrosse team carried the Tar Heels to a 16-11 victory over the No. 6 seed Duke Blue Devils in Saturday’s ACC Tournament semifinals–the team’s second win over Duke this season.

This marks the fifth consecutive season that UNC (14-3) has reached the ACC Tournament finals, where they will meet the nation’s top team–Boston College–on the Eagles’ home field in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

Duke led the game on Saturday 7-6 at halftime, before UNC outscored the Blue Devils (10-8) 10-4 in the second half to seal up the victory.

Jamie Ortega and Kara Klages led the way for the Tar Heels with four goals and one assist apiece, while Gianna Bowe and Olivia Ferrucci each added three goals of their own.

UNC and Boston College will square off for the conference title on Sunday at 1 p.m.
