The No. 2 ranked UNC men’s lacrosse program announced Friday that it will now host High Point on Tuesday after its originally scheduled opponent, Bellarmine, could not compete due to issues with COVID-19.
UNC already had a game against High Point on the schedule for Feb. 27 in Chapel Hill, which will still be played according to the Tar Heels program.
High Point is 1-0 this season after opening with a 21-15 victory at home over Robert Morris. UNC is 2-0 after defeating Jacksonville 18-7 on Saturday.
Tuesday’s game between the Tar Heels and Panthers will begin at 2 p.m.
