The UNC men’s lacrosse team snapped a two-game losing streak on Friday at UNC Lacrosse Stadium, as the Tar Heels rolled to a 17-5 victory over the visiting Marist Red Foxes.
William Perry, Timmy Kelly, Jacob Kelly, Bailey Laidman and Ara Atayan each scored twice for UNC (4-2), while a total of 12 different players scored at least once for head coach Joe Breschi’s Tar Heels.
UNC led Marist (2-3) 6-1 after the first quarter and continued to build its lead from that point on without ever facing a serious challenge.
For the Red Foxes, the loss snapped what had been a two-game winning streak.

The next game on the schedule for the Tar Heels is on Tuesday when they host Bucknell (1-4) at 4 p.m.
