The UNC men’s golf team ended its trip to Hawaii by moving up two spots on the leaderboard in Sunday’s final round to finish fourth at the John Burns Intercollegiate at the Wailua Golf Course.

Led by Ryan Gerard and Ryan Burnett–who combined to shoot 7-under-par on Sunday–the Tar Heels posted a team score of 11-under-par in the round to move their overall score to 18-under-par for the tournament.

Burnett was 7-under-par for the event, which was good enough for fourth place on the individual leaderboard. Gerard ended up in 16th with a score of 4-under-par.

Arizona State (-24) won the team tournament, followed by Texas A&M (-21) and Duke (-19).
