Top Drawer Soccer released its annual Division I Women’s Soccer Preseason Best XI team on Monday, with UNC junior forward Jessie Scarpa making the cut.

Scarpa sat out last season for the Tar Heels, while she competed for the U.S. in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea.

During her last season at UNC–which was in 2015–Scarpa was a First Team All-ACC selection after tallying eight goals and eight assists for head coach Anson Dorrance.

She is expected to play a large role this season for a team ranked No. 6 in the preseason coaches poll.

Defender Lotte Wubben-Moy was also recognized by Top Drawer Soccer, as part of the Preseason Freshman Best XI.

Wubben-Moy is a member of the English U-19 national team, who will join the Tar Heels on Aug. 23 and is likely to be a starter at center back.

UNC is set to begin its season on Friday with a match in Cary against No. 12 Duke.
