The UNC men’s lacrosse team improved to 3-0 to start the 2019 season on Saturday afternoon at Kenan Stadium, defeating the visiting Harvard Crimson by a score of 16-11.
Tanner Cook and Justin Anderson each scored three goals for the Tar Heels, while a total of 10 different UNC players found the back of the net at least once.
In addition, senior defender Justin Rowlett provided a major impact on that end of the ball with seven caused turnovers and seven ground balls picked up.
Harvard (0-1) stayed close throughout the majority of the game, but was never able to take the lead as the Tar Heels closed the game on a 5-1 run to seal up the victory.
