Sophomore Megan Dray homered and drove in five runs on Friday afternoon in Pittsburgh, leading the UNC softball team to an 11-5 victory over the host Pitt Panthers.

Dray drove in two runs on a single in the first inning to help UNC take a 3-0 lead early on, before adding three more on her home run in the fourth.

The Tar Heels (18-12, 7-3 ACC) led by as many as nine runs in the fifth inning, before allowing Pitt (4-27, 1-9 ACC) to scrape across two more in the bottom half of that frame.

On the mound, Brittany Pickett picked up her 11th win of the season.
