UNC junior Marissa Creatore was selected Tuesday as the ACC Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her Tar Heel career.

The Chapel Hill native was important in both of UNC’s wins this past week over No. 12 Boston College and No. 5 Connecticut, helping the top-ranked Tar Heels remain undefeated in 2018.

Creatore had a goal and an assist in the team’s 4-1 win over Boston College, before scoring the game-winner in UNC’s 2-1 victory over UCONN–last year’s national champions.

So far this year, Creatore’s seven goals rank fourth on the team.

UNC will return to action this Sunday at home when it hosts Duke in a match scheduled as a non-conference game.
