UNC senior Alexa Graham was named the ACC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday after helping guide the top-ranked Tar Heels to road victories over No. 2 Florida State and No. 27 Miami this past weekend.

This marks the second time this month and seventh time in her illustrious career that Graham has won the ACC’s weekly award.

Graham–the nation’s No. 5 ranked player–won both of her singles matches over Florida State and Miami, including a victory over the No. 1 player in the country–Miami’s Estella Perez-Somarriba.

She and the Tar Heels will return to the court at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center in Chapel Hill this Friday to host No. 13 Virginia.
