After scoring a career-high six goals in No. 1 UNC’s 19-6 victory over No. 3 Maryland this past Saturday, UNC junior midfielder Scottie Rose Growney was recognized Tuesday as both the IWLCA Division I and ACC Offensive Player of the Week.

The six goals were the most a Tar Heel has scored against Maryland since Erin McGinnis accomplished the feat back in 1999.

So far this season, Growney has amassed 13 goals–a number which ranks seventh in the ACC.
