
The ACC Network will air a full day of UNC games from the 2025-26 academic year Wednesday, July 1. It’s part of a series of ACC Network Takeovers, which started June 24 and include all 18 member schools.
UNC’s takeover includes wall-to-wall coverage from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. The broadcast day gets underway with a re-airing of a UNC men’s lacrosse win against No. 16 Army from March, when the Tar Heels defeated the Black Knights 12-11. At 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., ACCN will air back-to-back wins from UNC men’s soccer (against Virginia Tech) and UNC women’s soccer (against Syracuse). The UNC field hockey team’s ACC Tournament championship victory against Virginia, which saw the Tar Heels take home their ninth consecutive conference title, airs at 6 a.m.
At 8 a.m., viewers can watch UNC softball’s upset win against No. 18 Duke at Anderson Stadium from April. The UNC women’s basketball team’s 74-69 victory against the No. 12 Blue Devils at Carmichael Arena will air at 10 a.m. At noon, it’s another re-airing of an ACC Tournament final, as fans can relive the UNC women’s lacrosse team’s conference championship against Stanford.
A rare bright spot from the UNC football season is next, as Carolina’s 27-10 win at Syracuse airs at 2 p.m. At 5 p.m., catch one of the most memorable games in the history of the Dean Smith Center, as ACCN will re-air UNC’s win over Duke which saw Seth Trimble hit a game-winning three-pointer in the final seconds to cap a frantic Tar Heel comeback.
Another comeback win airs at 7 p.m.: Game 3 of the Chapel Hill Super Regional, in which the Diamond Heels overcame a 3-2 deficit in the ninth inning and won on Owen Hull’s walk-off double. The day wraps up with UNC volleyball’s five-set win against No. 7 SMU – its first top-1o victory since 2016 – at 10 p.m.
