A.C. Headlee Claims Second ACC Wrestler of the Week Award

For the second time already this season, UNC senior A.C. Headlee has been named the ACC Wrestler of the Week, the league revealed on Tuesday.

Headlee played a major role in the No. 18 Tar Heels’ 19-13 win over Appalachian State this past weekend, defeating No. 13 Matt Zovistoski 3-2 at 157 pounds.

This marks Headlee’s second upset of the year over an opponent ranked in the top 15. He previously defeated No. 10 Will Lewan of Michigan in UNC’s first dual match of the season.
