Following an online fan vote, former UNC quarterback–and current Chicago Bears’ signal-caller–Mitchell Trubisky was named the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week on Thursday.
This comes after Trubisky threw for a career-high 354 yards and six touchdowns in the Bears’ 48-10 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past Sunday.
It represents the first such honor for Trubisky, who was selected No. 2 overall by the Bears in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
