The Cleveland Browns made a move to claim former UNC cornerback M.J. Stewart off waivers on Saturday, after Stewart was waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier in the week.
Stewart is entering his third season in the NFL after being drafted by Tampa Bay in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
In 21 games as a professional–six of which were starts–Stewart has recorded 64 tackles and defended five passes.
