UPDATE: On Saturday, April 30, a spokesperson for the Chapel Hill Police Department confirmed to Chapelboro that Zoe Borden was located and is safe.


The Chapel Hill Police Department is seeking the public’s helping in locating a missing, local juvenile.

A release on Tuesday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. said police are looking for 16-year-old Zoe Borden. The Chapel Hill native was reportedly last seen on Friday, April 22.

Chapel Hill Police said in their statement that Borden is “not believed to be in danger.”

Anyone with information about Borden’s whereabouts is encouraged to call 911 or contact the Chapel Hill Police Department directly at 919-968-2760. Callers who wish to remain anonymous can also call the Chapel Hill-Carrboro-UNC Crimestoppers hotline at 919-942-7515.
