Orange County authorities are investigating after a man was shot and killed Sunday.

Officials said in a release that Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home on Brockwell Road shortly after eight o’clock Sunday morning.

A 911 caller alerted authorities that a male had been shot inside the home. Deputies found a male victim that had been shot and died as a result of his injuries.

An investigation is underway. Authorities say they believe this was an isolated incident and there is no additional threat to the general public.
