The ACC announced its women’s soccer Players of the Week on Tuesday, with a pair of Tar Heels sweeping the honors.

Junior midfielder Dorian Bailey was named the league’s Offensive Player of the Week, while redshirt freshman defender Taylor Otto took home the Defensive Player of the Week award.

Bailey scored the game-winning goal in each of UNC’s two wins last week–which came against ranked opponents in No. 19 Clemson and No. 11 Virginia.

She also added an assist on the Tar Heels’ first goal against Virginia, before scoring her third consecutive game-winner.

Otto, meanwhile, helped spearhead a defense which held Clemson and Virginia to just six shots on goal during UNC’s victories.

Through three ACC games so far in 2017, the Tar Heels are 3-0 and have conceded just one goal.

UNC will resume its schedule on Saturday at noon, when it hosts Syracuse at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary.
