About five minutes away from downtown Chapel Hill is Lavender Oaks Farm, a working (and sustainable!) lavender farm with several acres of majestic purple fields situated in the middle of roughly 60 acres of forest. Outside of the fragrant crop that it’s named for, Lavender Oaks also plays host to wooded trails, lovingly restored craftsman barns, and more!

Marlene Barbera, local expert at the Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau, knows just about everything when it comes to unique Orange County venues. She helps locals and visitors alike, and this week on “Tu for Two,” Marlene took Chela to visit Lavender Oaks Farm!
