A two-match road trip to Pennsylvania got off to a great start Friday night for No. 17 UNC wrestling team, which defeated the host Bucknell Bison by a score of 31-6.

The Tar Heels (9-5) won eight of the night’s 10 individual matches against Bucknell (5-7), including getting a pair of pins–one from Austin O’Connor at 149 pounds and another from Chip Ness at 184.

Heavyweight Cory Daniel and 133-pounder Gary Wayne Harding each picked up major decision wins for UNC, as the Tar Heels faced little resistance on the way to the blowout win.
