The 14th-ranked UNC wrestling team earned its third consecutive victory on Saturday at Carmichael Arena, defeating No. 21 Virginia by a score of 25-9 on Senior Night.

Top-ranked Austin O’Connor remained undefeated on the season with a major-decision victory at 149 pounds for UNC, while Devin Kane added six points to the team score with a win by pinfall at 184 pounds.

Five other Tar Heels won their matches by decision on Saturday, as the team wrapped up its regular season in style.

UNC picked up road wins at Pittsburgh and Lehigh last weekend, and will now head into the ACC Championships at the end of the month with plenty of momentum.

Up Next:

The ACC Championships will be held in Raleigh on Feb. 28.
