Four UNC volleyball players earned All-ACC Academic honors on Wednesday, the league announced.
Senior Mia Fradenburg, junior Aristea Tontei and freshmen Parker Austin and Carly Peck each found their names on the list, which recognizes student-athletes who have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average for their college careers and a 3.0 grade point average in their most recent semester.
Fradenburg–who graduated in December with a degree in environmental health sciences and a minor in spanish–was UNC’s libero for the past three seasons.
A biology major from Athens, Greece, Tontei started 23 of UNC’s 26 games this past season–leading the team with a .298 hitting percentage and 119 blocks.
Austin started 23 games for the Tar Heels at outside hitter in her debut season, earning All-ACC Freshman Team honors while also majoring in exercise and sport science.
Peck, meanwhile, has yet to declare a major. On the court, she tallied 116 kills and 46 blocks as a middle blocker.
