She may be in just her first year of college, but UNC women’s soccer forward Bridgette Andrzejewski has already made quite a name for herself.

On Thursday, the ACC released its yearly awards–with Andrzejewski taking home the league’s Freshman of the Year honor.

Not only that, the native of Lutherville, Maryland was the only Tar Heel to be selected to the All-ACC First Team. She was the only non-senior to make the First Team.

In 18 games this season, Andrzejewski leads the Tar Heels with 19 points (nine goals, one assist), while ranking eighth in the conference in that category.

It is the second time in three years that head coach Anson Dorrance has had the league’s Freshman of the Year on his team–as junior Megan Buckingham took home the award in 2014.

This season, Buckingham was the only other UNC player to make it onto one of the conference’s three All-League teams. The midfielder was chosen as a part of the All-ACC Second Team.

Currently boasting a record of 12-3-3, the Tar Heels will resume their season Friday night in the ACC Tournament Semifinals against top-seeded Notre Dame.

A win would lift the team into the conference title game on Sunday.
