For the third time this season, the scheduled women’s basketball game between UNC and No. 2 Louisville has been postponed.

The Tar Heels were scheduled to travel to Louisville for the game on Tuesday, but COVID-19 testing protocols within the UNC program will prevent that from happening.

Originally scheduled for Dec. 13, the game was first postponed due to virus issues within the Louisville program. It was then rescheduled for Jan. 1 after UNC’s originally scheduled games against Syracuse and Pittsburgh had to be postponed.

Problems with travel logistics moved the Louisville game from New Year’s Day to Tuesday, until the decision was made Sunday to postpone it again.

UNC is currently 7-2 this season, but has not played since a 77-74 overtime win against Wake Forest on Dec. 20.
