The ACC announced Friday evening that Sunday’s scheduled women’s basketball between UNC and No. 2 Louisville has been postponed.
Positive COVID-19 tests — and the related quarantining and contact tracing process — within the Louisville program led to the postponement.
The Tar Heels’ next scheduled game is on Dec. 17 at home against Syracuse. UNC said on Friday there is no update at this point on when the game might be rescheduled.
Through six games this season, UNC is 5-1, with an 0-1 record in ACC play following the team’s loss on Thursday to Wake Forest.
