Due to issues with travel logistics, the ACC announced Tuesday that the scheduled women’s basketball game on Jan. 1 between UNC and No. 2 Louisville has been postponed and rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan 5.

This marks the second time this season that a game between the Cardinals and Tar Heels has been postponed, as COVID-19 issues within the Louisville program caused the first postponement earlier this month.

UNC was originally scheduled to play Syracuse on Tuesday, but the Orange are dealing with COVID-19 protocols and were forced to postpone.

The Tar Heels scheduled the game against Louisville as a replacement for the originally scheduled contest against Syracuse.
